Exotic Aquatics HTX was founded on a simple idea: turn a lifelong passion into something bigger than ourselves.
Long before there was a business, there were two brothers with a love for Fish, Wildlife, and Mother Nature. What started with a few aquariums quickly became an obsession with learning, breeding, and understanding some of the most incredible aquatic species on the planet. We spent countless hours researching fish genetics, building aquarium systems, raising fry, and developing the skills that only come from years of hands-on experience.
For us, fishkeeping was never just a hobby—it was a way of life.
As our knowledge and collections grew, so did our vision. We realized there was an opportunity to create something special: a company built by hobbyists, for hobbyists. A place where quality comes first, where customers receive honest advice, and where every fish is treated with the same care and respect we would give our own.
That vision became Exotic Aquatics HTX.
Today, we’re proud to be a family-owned business dedicated to providing healthy, high-quality fish and sharing our passion with fellow enthusiasts across Houston and beyond. From rare cichlids and breeding projects to aquarium education and customer support, everything we do is rooted in the same passion that started this journey years ago.
